The ideal exercise program for improving body composition and health includes both cardio and strength training. Cardio helps you burn fat, burn calories, improves your BMI, and control blood pressure. It helps reduce your risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, diabetes, and some forms of cancer. At least 20 minutes of cardio a day is recommended.

How long does it take to see results?
Be patient. Results take time, but if you’re consistent, they absolutely will come. The exciting thing is that as a beginner, results come fairly quickly. Even in 30 days, you can really see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.

How often should I come?
2-4 classes a week is realistic for beginners, depending on your level of fitness when you start. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so at the beginning, you might need more recovery time between training days. Over the first few months, start working your way up to training 5 days a week.
Do you provide free refreshments there?
We have filtered water available to our members. We also partner with Thorne to offer high-quality supplements in house, giving you easy access to top-tier products that support your performance and recovery.
Do I have to be fit to join?
No! You don’t need to be in shape to start—our program is designed to help you get there. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, our expert coaches provide personalized guidance to ensure you train safely and effectively. Every workout is scalable, ensuring you build strength, endurance, and confidence at your own pace. As you progress, workouts become more challenging to keep you improving. No matter where you start, our supportive community and proven training methods will help you reach your fitness goals.

What kind of movements/exercises can I expect?
At CrossFit Edina, our classes include a mix of strength training, skill development, and high-intensity workouts designed to challenge and improve your fitness. Each class starts at the whiteboard in a small group setting, where your coach will walk you through the day's programming.
